Wallis is a UK brand: demographic is probably working women - its a bit like Country Road but with more colour and prints and less 'delicate' fabrics...their shoes are well priced, on trend and worth a look. They ship to NZ within 5-7 days for about $25 shipping costs.
I'm liking this simply black dress with its modern twist - pockets and exposed zip

Autumn Dreaming
I love my layers; coats and jackets especially. So the Northern Hemisphere AW collections always have the edge over our SS...here's my pics from River Island's Lookbook

Boh vs Walker
Not a big jewellery person...too many other clothes, shoes and accessories vying for my spare change...amount left over for crown jewels = nadda. BUT if I could, I would for Boh Runga's NZ Mint Collections and Karen Walker's whimsical beauties.
Art e-Facts
Love these from Coulson MacLeod (UK). They do limited edition and bespoke prints as well as mass production - and shop worldwide.
My favs the weatherboard tree - images like these are so emotive for me - slightly melancholic but as nature dictates - Spring always comes...

Vogue No.1
My aunt bought me my first Vogue when I was 13. I found the cover online. My fashion induction struck right at the height of the Supermodel Era so I was hooked from the start. I don't really buy fashion mags anymore - whilst beautiful and creative, I found them just too...unattainable. Nonetheless I dedicate this post to the one that started it all for me and many more before and after...VOGUE. Do you remember your first cover?

Lovely Chaos...
Chaos and Harmony
This is one of those things you kinda don't want to share in case someone nabs a pair before you! Chaos and Harmony is a truely stylish footwear brand for women. They have nailed on-trend yet unique each season since their inception. You can buy (with free shipping) from me-tailtherapy.co.nz. Here is my polyvore odee to their winter '10 collection inspired by the famous WWII Spy 'White Mouse'. Genious.
These would SO rock the Northern Hemisphere's autumn/fall wardrobes

Current Crush - August
Thought I'd do a monthly post on 1 dream item and 1 affordable item I'd love to add to my wardrobe and home. Will let you know should a purchase ever actually be made.
Dream Team Item = Stella McCartney Navy Blazer from Net-a-Porter GPB 1,119.56.
It Could Be Mine = Witchery bib necklace AUS$49.95. This would be great to dress up grey tee or simple dress. I've tried this on. Don't know why I didn't get it?
And for the home I yearn for some danish design especially the Wegner Shell from roomandboard.com
or I could just jump on the trendy wagon and get some nostalgia via Keep Calm and Carry On. Though the sentiment is not as pertinent as when bombs were being dropped, the message still has relevance to every day lives - love the distressed Union Jack version from a purely aesthetic view point though don't think my Irish husband would stretch as far to hanging it in the living room. As you do...
